Event specific medals disappearing

Bug type: Item functionality

Brief bug summary: When an event returns, people who previously earned medals from that event have theirs "reset". The medals do not show up in medal list anymore, and cannot be reissued. Only way to get them back is to do the event all over again.

Steps to reproduce:
Participate in an event
Be rewarded with a medal for that event
Wait until the event returns months/years later
The medal you earned last time will now have disappeared

Character level: 228

Character job: Phantom

World name: Broa

Date and time of the incident: Most recently it involves the Born Single and Heartbreaker medals from the Singles Army Unite event.


This type of thing has been happening forever now and has been reported before, but nobody seems to be doing anything about it so I figure I should report it anyway. There's no point in trying to collect any event medals if they're just gonna be ripped from you the next time the event comes around.
