Cerberus is the planet where Jett came from and there's not much about it other than the fact there are bounty hunters and alien-like creatures, like those who accompany Jett in his space ship and make cameos when using certain skills. What I liked about Eluna (aside from the extremely broken EXP reward) is that it takes place on a planet with colorful and unique alien monsters. Maybe include something like a Bounty Hunter ranking system where doing Bounty quests reward currency that can be used to purchase various items based on your rank as a bounty hunter, like from Silent Crusade and Absolute Taste.

To expand upon this idea, the content would be unlockable when reaching level 100. When Jett reaches level 100, he receives a special version of a quest where he receives an incoming message from his crew in his space ship declaring that the ship has become fully functional and is able to travel back to Cerberus (and back) if Jett ever wanted to do so. Otherwise it appears as a lost message that the player happened to stumble on.

When reaching Cerberus, the main town introduces players to the oppertunity to becoming a bounty hunter. To Jett, he is offered a retraining course from his old teacher who thinks he/she has gone soft since learning about Maple World and it's culture and has to prove themselves that they are still one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy. When first becoming a bounty hunter, each player is given a basic Bounty Badge (equipable badge) that can be potenialled when obtaining the badge's final stage (GSE Badge boomers rejoice!) The badge can level up by doing Bounty Hunter Quests and the badge's stage also represents your current rank as a bounty hunter.

The quest offers tutorials on the various bounty quest types are available, which include monster hunting (grind), Treasure hunting (looting/jump quests) and Boss hunting (special)
When doing enough quests you can rank up to the next bounty hunter tier which unlocks additional purchasable items from the Town's shop; which mostly includes rank specific gear. There will be time limited items that can only be purchased once every few months, similar to Gollux Shop resets.

I did kind of think Jett should have their own area, as all the other classes that originate from somewhere else plot-wise do.

I know you're suggesting a higher level area, but it would work as a Jett specific area as well (aside from the equips).
