Event Absolab Question.

Hi,
I've noticed that after the 25 stars update, the Absolab weapons we received from previous Maple Relay events are still 12 stars. However in KMS, the Absolab weapons players receive from the event are 17 stars post 25 stars. The current Maple Relay event also states that players will only be getting a 12 star Absolab weapon.
My question is that if our current 12 star weapons will be changed to receive 17 stars or does this only apply to the future Maple Relay events?
