Blank error in student from another world

I started doing the “student from another world ep 1” quest and from there whenever I log into my character the storyline about how Hoodlum thinks Cygnus likes him shows up and afterwards when I click next to continue the storyline my screen turns all white. Helpppppp ;-;

    press ESC, then an option to skip the cutscene should show up.. Some animated cutscenes appear to be having issues right now.
