I have some gripes about this post. It repeatedly links back to the patch notes for more info.

For example, the Turkey Egg Hunt.

In the event post it says this:
Turkey Egg Hunt

NPC Cody wants you to find him some Turkey Eggs! Luckily, there are Turkeys appearing in certain locations in Maple World including Henesys, Magatia, Leafre and more. Turkeys drop three different colors of eggs depending on your level range. Talk to Cody to see what kind of Turkey Egg he expects you to find. Then go hunt some monsters and start collecting those eggs! You can turn in your eggs to Cody for special rewards, which differ depending on which color egg you turn in! You can earn delicious restorative items, Potential Stamps and Scrolls, a Turkey Pet, a Nebulite Box, and more!

And when you actually go to the patch notes to "learn more" all you get is this information.
Thanksgiving Turkey Egg Hunt
November 9 - November 29

Requirement: Lv. 10 and above

Cody is asking for your help in gathering for his preparations!
Participate in one of three level ranges at Lv. 10, Lv. 50, and Lv. 100.
Rewards:

Some of the rewards include restorative Thanksgiving food items such as Mashed Potatoes and Turkey Legs.
There is also potential at higher levels to receive items such as an Epic Potential Scroll 40%, Perfect Innocence Scroll 50%, and Gold Bonus Potential Stamp.
That's not a whole lot of information, and not even new information.
Things that are missing; full list of rewards (no more of this "such as" BS in the patch notes please), limit of rewards per character/world/account and duration of rewards (FREE TURKEY PET? But how long does it last, no duration listed so I guess it'd be safe to assume it's permanent, but then again this is Nexon so I'm inclined to believe it's no more than 14 days and non-revivable).
Hell, the patch notes don't even mention the Turkey pet AT ALL.

And what in the world does "There is also potential at higher levels to receive" mean? Is that just the Lv 100 range, or including the Lv. 50 one, or far above that?

Then there's the Thanksgiving! event that lists these rewards in the event post:
Pilgrim Hat or Maplehontas equip. Roasted Turkey, Cranberry Sauce, and Corn. You may even get your hands on a Roasted Relaxer Chair, a Special Potential Scroll, or a Special Bonus Potential Scroll!
While the patch notes look quite different:
Rewards: Turkeys can drop the following items:

Pilgrim Hat: STR/DEX/INT/LUK +1, MaxHP/MaxMP +100, Movement Speed +10, Jump +10.
Chief Axe: Weapon ATT +50, Attack Speed +3.
And nothing else! Finito. That's all the details we got on that folks, enjoy this vague event with vague rewards and vague details on how to obtain them. Does the chair drop from turkeys too or are they random-box-type-rewards when turning in the quest to Cassandra? Who knows? Not me!

I'm sick and tired of lackluster and incorrect patch notes. Especially in regards to events.

... and if you ask the GMs they tell you that Nexon wants us to "explore" and "discover for ourselves" how the game works...

...and that is how exploits are born. And then nobody knows whether it's intentional or not because we have no point of reference, then people get massbanned or the economy is broken for a few weeks because Nexon didn't act fast enough or get the information out there in the first place. It's so annoying how many things could be prevented with accurate and detailed patch notes.
