New Message Notification Bug

Bug Type: In-game Notifications

Brief Bug Summary: Can't rid myself of the "You have a new message," notification.
When I leave the zone or channel, despite having pressed either 'x' or 'o', it comes back without fail.

More Details: In reference to the report I'm quoting in a minute, I never dabbled with any NX items so I'm unaware how that could be the source.

1. Gift a player something with NX
2. Leave the Cash Shop
3. After the gifted player receives the item in Cash Shop, the "You have a new message" notification appears and reappears after changing maps and or channel

Expected result: After clicking on the notification, the person who gifted the NX should receive +1 fame and the notification should disappear after

Observed result: The notification does not disappear nor gives you fame, talking to the NPC Donald Package Deliverer does not solve this issue"""


Steps To Reproduce: I honestly have no idea the source of the issue or exactly when it started.
