Vengeful Ring Golden Hammer

Is it possible to Golden Hammer a Vengeful ring? There's a line that says "NUMBER OF HAMMERS APPLIED" but every time I try, it says not upgradeable.

    Vengeful Ring can only have hammers applied using Vicious Hammers, the ones in Cash Shop.
