Maintenance VS attendance

SO! I can only be on at certain times of day. and i woke up early today to do attendance, however maintenance is going on...why is it not set with the new time zone? am i just completely shafted from doing attendance. if i only have half an hour to to this attendance i won't be able to finish due to the fact that my main isn't strong enough to kill that fast due to the fact that all of my multi level clearing moves have a 5+ second cooldown.

    fyi, they reset 5 PM PST.

    I've given up on attendance because 2000 is simply too many in general for me to complete every day on my relatively low leveled main :(
