Just so people know what they're getting into before purchasing:

$5 - NX 5,000
$10 - NX 10,000 - bonus of NX 500
$30 - NX 30,000 - bonus of NX 3,000
$100 - NX 100,000 - bonus of NX 15,000

To me, it's an alright deal, but only if you spend $30 or $100.

Another thing to note:
There's a big banner promoting this "deal" when you try to access the main site, and unless you can find the "Continue to main site" option and click on it, it will disable you from navigating the main site.

I've had this happen twice during the 2x period where the lag seemed to clear up.. Only took like 10 minutes before it became unbearable again though.

However, Reboot's channels actually filled up even more than what they were before 2x ended. Just pointing that out.

Was it laggy as well before 2x? (before 10:00AM PST?)

A little bit.

But, what caused the lag is a lot more complex than you think..

Lmao nexon just sucks at maintenance and updates now. Always messing up, causing the game to be down for even a longer time. Servers overloading? What happened to when maplestory was the most popular game, servers wouldnt overload unless it was 2x EXP event and such, now over half the players are gone and no 2x EXP event, the servers overloading? Come on nexon, step up your game.

Because back then, the client didn't take up so much space. However, 11 years later, the client size is currently at 14.4 GB. Imagine how much content is currently in game now, so obviously, it is going to take a longer time than it did back then.

By the way, they're performing maintenance because the servers overloaded due the amount of players thatw ere trying to log in as soon as the servers went live again this afternoon.

To everyone else:
There is no use in complaining anymore. It will just frustrate you even more.

Really?? You're going to ask for compensation?? It's only 1 day!! ONE. DAY.
We're only missing ONE DAY out of: 14 days of the Burning Event, 14 days out of the Hi-Five Box Event, 28 days of the Play V Rewards Event, 28 days of the V Breakthrough Event, 28 days the V Coin Shop will be available, 28 days of the V Tracker Event, and lastly, 29 days of both the Zero and Beast Tamer Character Creation Event.
Some events don't even start until December 3rd, December 5th, December 7th and December 10th.
Plus, there's even going to be a 2x EXP and Drop event this weekend.. AND THE NEXT!! (December 3rd-4th and December 10th-11th)
so what's with requesting an EXP coupon in order to compensate for downtime??!!??
Surely even the people who work and those with even busier schedules can squeeze in a few days to play.

The people who are complaining and whining for compensation because maintenance is taking longer than usual are being
VERY unreasonable, selfish, and greedy at the moment. The Admins and even the Community Manager keep thanking us for our patience, but we are showing them that WE CAN'T CONTAIN OURSELVES AND HAVE NO PATIENCE WHATSOEVER.
They've even given us updates on the current situation throughout the time the game's been down.
Both OneLetter, and even KThanksBaiNao said that the MapleStory team is working tirelessly to get the game up so that we can play.

Show some consideration and appreciation for crying out loud!!
