I still only play my Battle Mage... It was once has a very good skill (Union Aura) , but they nerfed alot...3 times they have nerfed BAM. They take away the twister, they change some skill and add a new useless skil. If they nerfed it again..then i will rest for good..and will hybernate until Nexon learn from their mistake and they accept that every class has some special skills that others don't have. And i see how they hate Magician class alot .

I find this hard to believe. Cassandra and gaga in particular are known to cause insane amounts of lag to players, but removing Mr. Lee was seemingly enough to fix the lag? I don't exactly remember who the culprit was, but it was one of the new NPCs.

Before I get into it, I will say that my NDA has expired as of today. I signed my NDA on October 24th, 2013 and it is good for 3 years. I also sent a ticket to Nexon with the screenshots I'm about to show you guys to make sure that it was okay to share because I feel like it was a pretty cool moment to be part of.


So anyway, long story short, we had a bit of a NPC party in an empty map.
Developers were spawning in NPCs to see which one would make me lag/crash and then I would report to them if I was fine, and obviously they would know if I lagged or crashed. The crashing happened a lot, I made different characters to see if it affected other characters or simply the Kanna/Hayato. We eventually found out the culprit.

At first I was concerned about the weird named characters entering the map and I thought that some random people/hackers found us. Nah, turned out it was just the devs.

I believe that shortly after, there was a maintenance to fix the lag from the NPC who caused it. I think they just ended up removing the NPC entirely.

So I've started the Grin Ring quest on 5 characters today to get the Dark Rack on them because I like hopping around from class to class and don't have a "main" that I enjoy. (Shade so far is pretty fun but he's sooo weeeeaaakkk ugh)

I've had to restart the Grin Ring quest 19 times. That means that somehow Nexon lost connection to my client then let me log back in then caused my client to crash immediately after I restarted the Grin Ring timer again. 19 times. In 4 hours. That's amazing. Including the original acceptance and starting of the quest that's a total of 24 Grin Ring quests for 5 characters. Wow. Can you not keep a connection stable for a legit player for 30 minutes?

Right now I've had to retake the quest on my Phanton seven times. That's not counting the first time. Why? Because for some reason you folks have knocked out channels 1-18 on Reboot and those channels cannot maintain a connection.
Update: I got on one of the two stable channels and finally finished it. It's too late now to go bossing with my current main, so that's XP/etc. lost to restarting Grin Ring over and over and over for nearly 2 hours. I don't think Nexon cares though.
