  • Military Discount

While we're at it add a discount for broke college kids, single moms and dads, mentally or physically disabled people, recovering addicts and abuse victims, and so on.
And only U.S. based people in need, of course.

Real answer though, the game is already free. NX is a luxury and not a necessity, there is also numerous ways of getting Maple Points in-game without spending a single dollar.
If Nexon were to actually implement any type of targeted discounts it'd just be for a quick PR stunt. So maybe you can look forward to when they remove kishin or the next piece of content and they suddenly need to look good. But again, just to U.S. based people.

  • GM should add additional potentials on reboot

I'd also argue that Reboot isn't hard. Progression in Reboot is much, MUCH faster than in non-Reboot for free players. Increasing monster HP doesn't make the server more difficult, it doesn't require any more skill to beat them, it just means monsters take a longer time to die. It only serves as a waste of time that eventually becomes completely inconsequential, anyway, because you can get much stronger at a much faster pace than in non-Reboot and outpace monsters' HP. Difficulty is not the issue here. The problem is that your progression plateaus much faster than in non-Reboot so, after a certain point late into the game, you just can't do anything more. Once you've perfected your equipment, you still don't have the raw numbers to beat the final boss because the game took away your ability to progress.

Monsters in reboot also have higher EXP as a reward for taking down that extra HP.
Honestly this thread is just further proof that the two server concepts can't be fairly compared and shouldn't be sharing ranks.

  • lol, removing amoria quests

Honestly the complaints about armoria quests being removed feel awfully similar to the people in the US who heard about toys-r-us closing down and thought "oh no, I can't believe they're closing!". If you asked any of them, very few would be able to tell you the last time they actually set foot into one of the stores.

Sure the area and quests are old and not included in achievements and whatnot, but Amoria still has merits (hair/face styles, Beauty or Beast quest, the NPC that sells dresses and suits, really nice map details) and it's not like it's hacker infested, which was their dumb official reason for removing Singapore, but at least that part was true.

Besides, it's kinda hard not to complain when you put effort in trying to get them to restore access to Amoria and APQ ever since it was arbitrarily closed off after the reset on December 31st 2016 when it became unavailable via NPC. Nexon never made any claims that it was intentional, and it was forwarded as a bug several times.
The subway to NLC was also unavailable for some time when they introduced Kerning tower, which overwrote the NPC options. That has since been restored, but as a direct teleport and not a subway ride.
And APQ portal was eventually, at last, added to the new wedding village, including the purple plains maps which are a part of Amoria and its quests.

The reason they gave that the content wasn't being used just further proves that Nexon doesn't listen at all to the community.
And personally, if I'm being dramatic, it's a bit of a slap to the face since myself and others have been consistently vocal about the content being bugged and the fact that they have half-assedly fixed the quests over the past few months but not restored access to the quests they've been fixing.
It's just all so very stupid.

  • Amoria quests/accessibility

    http://maplestory.nexon.net/news/53118/maple-memo-v208-status-update-september-27
Amoria quests will be removed. We have reviewed the gameplay data for the content in MapleStory and saw that few players were participating in these quests. Since this is the case, we have decided to remove these quests, to clean up some old data that can potentially be abused and better manage our client size.

Excuse me, but are you actually stupid? People don't do the quests because they can't.
    1. They were bugged for years and items needed didn't drop
    2. Amoria has been inaccessible for god knows how long now so people can't actually accept and complete the quests because the NPCs are in Amoria, which they cannot access

@Ghiblee What is the meaning of this? We reported these bugs over and over and Nexon completely ignores that and pretends that the area isn't popular.
