The Maple Specialist was similar to Pink Bean diary. It was first awarded from the V-tracker event iirc, and had a re-release in another similar event a while back, I forget what it was for. It's transferable within account though so in that regard it's different.
Would've been great if we had gotten some confirmation all the other times this question was brought up though. As late as yesterday it was obvious the times were unclear:
What does that even mean though. The problem isn't that it doesn't do damage. It does do damage once it's installed. The problem is with installing it at all in the first place.
I hope it's just poor wording on Nexon's part. I guess we'll see once the servers go up.

Edit: Problem remains, it just failed on me again after the patch and cooldown was applied. Gonna test it more when servers get more crowded.
