They both send the message across all channels on the server, yes.
The solid pink one is the "original" type of smega. There is also the item smega which is yellow and lets you link an item in the message (if you want to).
They then added a lot of options for showing your character in the upper right corner alongside the message, with various backgrounds. These are called "Messengers" in the cash shop instead of megaphones.
But oddly enough the same type of item is called a megaphone when it's the MVP reward (bronze/silver/gold/diamond megaphone), which also shows your character in the upper right corner.
And there's the regular 300NX megaphone which is blue/white and only sends a message on the map/(channel?)you're on.
ah the reboot meta, or they could introduce better reboot rings. but yeah I would agree if it'll help reboot players have an equal or average playing field.
Kanna Treasure is BiS in regular servers too since 22*, aside from BoD.
I feel like I saw a different thread about this but now I can't find it so...
With the addition of the guild skill Point Accrual, which we wanted and finally got, you receive reward points every hour you're logged in and get guild contribution.
However this poses a problem once you hit the monthly reward point cap and can no longer "settle" your points in the cash shop. You will then get this popup every hour of every day (most annoyingly during bosses and jumpquests) until the month resets.
It is now the 22nd. I have hit my monthly cap. That means I have more than a week to look forward to this popup. Imagine getting this popup during third phase hard Lucid.
I suggest either getting rid of this cap and stick to the daily 3k before you have to settle RP for the day, or getting rid of the popup dialogue. Put it in the chatbox or as a scrolling yellow text (same as when you redeem points).
It was mostly so people wouldn't stand and kill mobs that were being continuously vacced.
If I run into an abandoned map like that now I just kill a few and let the spawn scatter/normalize a bit before killing the rest. I don't actually know if there's a system in place for that sort of stuff, but at the very least I won't get kicked by the automated GM Lag Police for killing a full map's worth of spawn in one go.
