  • Add more items to the PSSB stamp shop

    Problem:
The PSSB Stamp shop currently lacks variety and is updated infrequently. The purpose of the stamp system is to allow players to trade in cash equips from PSSBs for something they would like more; however, the current system fails to meet that purpose.
As it is now, the stamp shop is essentially a glorified PSSB cycle that changes every 6 months. The recent update to the stamp shop introduced some cool items, but like the previous 2 iterations, the novelty for these items have already worn off. With the PSSB updating every few weeks and stamp shop updating every 6 months, players are often left with nothing in the stamp shop to exchange with their unwanted PSSB items.

    Solution 1:
The most straightforward way to combat this is to introduce more items in the stamp shop. Add enough variety so that there are at least 1 or 2 items that a PSSB buyer might want. Add every single item on rotation AND all the items in previous rotations if necessary. The ratio of stamps to item is roughly 30:1, so the items better be good.

    Solution 2:
Alternatively, the variety can be increased by updating the stamp shop inventory more often. Add some of “GM’s favorites” during each PSSB update so players are guaranteed to get the item they want each rotation after a certain amount of boxes.

    Conclusion:
I know that all of this is unlikely to be implemented, and that this issue does not affect the majority of players. However, with Nexon’s recent changes to the selection of permanent NX items I feel that they are more receptive to these suggestions right now. Ultimately, if these changes do go through it would be a step in a better direction for Nexon’s strict RNG and Limited Time Only approach.

If anyone have any critics or suggestions, I would be happy to hear them in the comment section.
