A brief description of why would I like to become a VFM:
I started playing Maplestory back in 2005. I was just a kid and I loved the game, and I have been playing it ever since. I am very passionate about the game and I live through all of its changes. I want to be a VFM to be more than just part of the community. I want to be able to help voice concerns, problems as well as the positives from the community and the company. I believe that becoming a VFM would give me even more tools to facilitate this process. I am a very sociable person and love to, not only communicate, but also to help others. I’m a programmer and currently studying in Software engineering which can help me understand what is happening in the back scene. In short, I would love to take part of this project involving my favorite game.
What do I hope to accomplish as a VFM:
As I mentioned earlier, I hope to improve the communication between the company and the Maplers. With my knowledge of the game, I feel that I could be of help to this community. I follow every events and play actively which puts me in a position to help others. I’m very resourceful when it comes to the game and would love for others to think of me as someone they can come to for help. I am capable of staying neutral when faced with a difficult situation which means I am well equipped to talk to others without being influenced by their opinions. In other words, if there are disagreements within the community, I am able to listen to both sides without picking favorites. I mostly play in a regular server. However, I am very knowledgeable of the differences, challenges and perks of both Reboot and non-Reboot. Being neutral makes it so that even thought I main regular servers, I would not put it over the Reboot servers.
Do you have any experience moderating for other communities?
I am a moderator in a lot of Maplestory Twitch communities such as: MisusingTV, ISlinggunz, Slatymate, MissPermafrost, SoulessClone and I’m very active in other Twitch communities. My role in those streams is to moderate chat, to make sure that no inappropriate things are said, and to help answer questions from the community. I am also active in a lot of discords, including the official Maplestory Discord where a lot of people know me.
