Some people don't want to admit that a lot of the things they say are annoying or outdated or ought to be removed are benign enough that it really doesn't matter whether it's removed or kept in place.
If it doesn't matter whether it's removed or kept in place, but still annoys portion of player base, then removing is the right choice. After all, IT DOESN'T MATTER right?
The portion of the player base seems to be a somewhat vocal minority. The only time I see any complaints centering on exp gain or loss is when people are whining about their precious suicide kannas.
Another reason why they should just remove exp loss upon death. They clearly don't want people to suicide kanna and are banning people for that. Newbies are complaining about exp loss because they don't have sufficient range and AF when they enter arcane river. Simply remove exp loss upon death, and suicide kanna is blocked, and newbies don't have to worry about dying when they enter AR. They pretty much deleted the holy symbol, the most beloved relic of the past. Might as well dump this past relic that nobody even likes.
So for this wondroid event, they decided to go all out on cancer and even make entrance to the cancer map cancer. They could've been normal half-competent devs and simply teleport people back the the start point when they fail the cancer maps, and give people option to return to previous map. But no no no no. MS devs are quirky individuals with big noodle brains. Instead, send people back to the hideout and make them forfeit the quest and try again to enter the map again. GENIUS!!!
Why? Just why? How are the devs this (extremely bad words that will probably get me banned)??? This bs way of going back to the map synergizes with their potato servers and does this bs

DA has no iframe despite needing to use HP for skills
No burst damage skill that fits the meta
The only redeemable thing about DA was mobbing due to nether shield, but they also nerfed that to the ground

Another DA main here, and LMAO same. They killed shields (no more 0cd meta, the shields don't linger anymore), and yet they created a class like Adele with the flying swords.
In Adele's defense, her sword projectile doesn't work the way nether shield does. Nether shield move separately from a player. Adele's swords moves with the player so its range is much shorter than nether shield. It can't go far away from player and kill mobs that are far away. Adele's sword is mostly for bossing and doesn't make that much difference in mobbing like nether shield does for DA.
But yeah, still bs that Adele's sword stays around for guaranteed 20 sec, when DA's shield which also does alot in bossing disappears when bosses move away.
