The elite monsters won't spawn unless you are close to the level of said monsters, and to make matter worst, you need to find that one "specific" elite monsters out of the many others. Like Beefy, Shadowy, Evasive, etc...

I agree that the addition of elite monsters is just making things unnecessarily difficult and it honestly stops me from hunting those altogether. A good way to improve on this is to remove the specific type of elite monster and make it so that any type of elite monster will count. It would also be nice if the "success rate" of collecting these elite monsters would be a lot higher since you can only spawn them while you are in their level range. And no, using Runes to spawn them doesn't work either since those, too, only spawn while you are in their level range.

It's not just useful as something to pass time, when you've finished a collection you can make those monsters explore for you and after a set amount of time you get a reward and some reward points. I've gotten plenty of 50% epots, potential stamps and cubes to improve my gear this way.

1. Omega Sector
One of the most fun and overlooked areas/quests in the game before it was closed down. And I can only hope the revamp won't turn it into another linear piece of trash like Kerning Tower is now.
I remember spending hours just sitting somewhere in the Silo map listening to the BGM.
2. Exploring Hidden Street maps
The didn't serve much purpose but they were fun to discover.

I get the popup EVERY time I log out to the Character Selection screen. What's worse is that it crashes my game more often than not.
