"Quit Game" button functionality

Current Functionality

"Quit Game" button, in the Settings menu, brings us to the World Selection screen. From here we can either select a world and channel (and then character) in the same region as we used before, or completely exit the client by clicking the "Quit Game" button on this screen and then "OK" in a pop-up confirmation dialog.

Problems

1. By far, the most common reason for a player to use "Quit Game" is because they want to continue playing, but on a different character in the same world. Being sent all the way back to World Selection requires superfluous steps (selecting the world and the channel and waiting for the connection to be established and the character selection screen to be loaded).

2. It is not possible to select a world in a different region, or a different account, without exiting the client entirely and then relaunching it (after switching accounts in the Nexon Launcher, if needed).

Suggested new design/functionality

1. Have two options in the in-game Settings Menu: "Change Character" and "Quit Game".
"Change Character" would go directly to the character selection screen, in the same world and channel as currently connected.
"Quit Game" would act the same as clicking the "X" at the top right of the window - it would ask confirmation and then close the client.

2. Add a button labeled "World Selection" on the Character Selection screen. It would go back to the World Selection screen (currently, pressing ESC on Character Selection goes back to World Selection, but this is undocumented).

3. Add a button labeled "Region Selection" on the World Selection screen. It would go back to the Region Selection screen.

4. Add an option to change accounts in the Nexon Launcher while the client is running, which would force the client to go to the Region Selection screen and reconnect to the servers with the new account credentials.

Advantages of the suggested solution

1. Convenient one-button option for the most commonly desired function: Change character in same world.

2. Save client relaunch time when switching regions or accounts.

3. Quicker client shut-down when that is what the user wants.

I'm really hoping Nexon America will adopt this feature and more features included in the modern version of the game (these features are included in MapleSEA, too).
Everybody who see this here, please say it's something you want to see in the game as soon as possible. In hope this will help to accelerate the efforts to implement it.

Yeah it is kinda dumb that you have to restart the whole game just to switch worlds/regions. Even though its not as common to switch regions, sometimes by mistake you may choose the wrong one. Its annoying to have to reopen the game just because you misclicked.

I agree with this. it's too much to have go all the way back to the worlds screen just to change characters in the same world, and even worse to have to close the game if you misclick the region.

Even more, having to choose a region every time seems dumb to me. It should be in a Settings menu somewhere, not during the log-in. I can't imagine more than a handful of players ever travel between continents to play MapleStory.
