Server Status

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone else can get into MapleStory. I understand that there's a patch today. However, the server status on MapleStory website indicate that the server is up and running.

I updated my client but was unable to login even at the current time of posting. Whenever I click on "Play", the response I got back was "server under maintenance, please try again later"

    Don't believe the server status page on Nexon's website.
    Believe the notices on the News hub, particularly this one http://maplestory.nexon.net/news//28012/ saying the maintenance has been extended until further notice.
    Or believe Southperry's server status page http://www.southperry.net/stat.php and wait for it to show the login servers are green. (The game servers go up and down while Nexon is testing the patch, but the login servers stay closed until the game is ready for players to log in).

    I see! Thanks for the assistance! Just got back to MapleStory and I thought the server status on the website is reliable :D
