Return Frenzy Totem or Delete the rest of them

Back in 2019, Frenzy Totem was discontinued from Marvel and Philo books but remaining owners were allowed to keep them. We were allowed to keep Kishin and were given temporary Fury Totems (which at some point got nerfed into Wild Totems.) Destiny was the death of Kishin (but Wild Totems were kept) and Ignition finally killed the Wild Totems in both servers. However, some really lucky folks in regular servers were allowed to keep their Frenzies and are unaffected by these changes but actually benefitted from because regular players lost access to the free alternatives. The remaining players are able to grind and farm and get much higher rates than regular players because they have access to spawn, or able to profit by selling Frenzy service and buffing other people's maps for mesos/hr. Frenzy service sellers are only available of certain times of day and can pretty charge whatever they want so you limited by their schedule. Pretty much everything in the Auction House and Meso Market is based off the rate those few players who train under Frenzy's Monolith buff aside from the supply and demand of Arcanes and Pitch Boss items from the few who can kill them.

The remaining Frenzy owners sometimes do RMT with the mesos they were paid and make a living selling service and meso including some of their clients. Also the black market price for Frenzy Totem seemed to have quadrupled since the discontinuation (not the deletion) of Frenzy Totem from Marvel/Philo. There is no legal way of obtaining a Frenzy Totem and existing owners both control the market and have a permanent advantage over other players.

I would like to see Frenzy Totem to make a return so other players aren't forced to buy from the black market or play around the seller's schedule and to own one to boost their own gains. Alternatively, they could remove the rest of the remaining totems and treat the change as something the Battle-Roid or Permanent Pendant slot change, but reintroducing would be a better option to increase players' rates, possibly increase game revenue and not piss off the .01% of players who have a Frenzy Totem.

Frenzy Totem could returned the way it is, or they could release new totems and update existing ones to match TMS's if it the reason they discontinued Frenzy was to discourage selling service and " meso inflation." While our version of Frenzy allowed the spawn boosting effect to persist for 10 minutes after the caster has left, TMS's version functions so the boosting effects are removed when the caster leaves, which makes it near impossible to sell service unless the caster stays in the map. I would to enjoy boosted spawn rates without having to deal other player's or visiting the Black Market.

Well if they bring back fz totems that be great. If they can make a better fz even better. Regular server has a lot of rework to do in farming and upgrading.

    also clicks *do nothing*

Like so many pay2win items, frenzy totem will probably be phased become out and forgotten (ie mule gear).

Level 280+ training areas are coming out soon, 6th job coming out soon. In the coming years, I expect the new level 300+ cap and more level curve reduction to ultimately kill off the obsession with frenzy totem.

rip perma pendant slot: jun 2012-aug 2023
    rip frenzy totem: aug 2016- ??? 2026? 2030?

Frenzy has its uses for growing lowering mules in the Arcane region/Tenebris Region if they do decide to make Grandis instanced to prevent the spread of the effect. It greatly affects the speed we acquire EXP in lower levels (even if they make it ineffective in endgame areas) as well as greatly improves meso rates, material farming (droplets, nodes, symbols, cores and stigma for Abso.)

Nexon has the choice of removing it to force us all onto the same playing field or to release it so that there can be more circulating the server in hopes that someone acquires one. Frenzy is currently in its worst state currently since 2019 as there are no new Frenzies being introduced and ownership only changes in the black market. The items you mentioned above only got powercrept or Quality of Life happened. No amount of EXP curve would make Frenzy Totem irrelevant as its not just boosting training, but it boosts meso income and materials needed for growth and also blasting through dailies. Even with level curve, Frenzy will still be useful as it cuts that time further allowing faster legion growths.

If Nexon doesn't want us to hit the level cap so fast, they can restrict usage of Frenzy up to Liminia. If Nexon has problems with people farming or sharing the effects, they could implement's TMS's version where the effect subsides if the caster leaves. Nexon is free to implement either version of the totems with or without level/area restriction, restrict its usage in Grandis+ or remove the remaining ones.

This service is now used for illegal activities on regular servers, people who have a berserk totem with collusion with bot people, macros and hacking make illegal use of this totem in places like labyrinth deep core 2, limina, cernium and hotel. There are very few people who make legal use of the fz totem. There is no gms I think in this game to ban people in these places, their reporting system is deplorable. There are bot people in the cities selling mesos illegally through harmful pages again, due to the illegal use of the frenzy totem. Returning the wild totem is bad, because these illegal activities would become terrible in a game where the legal player is abandoned today, despite the changes for the good in the game
