Okay so what I feel like is super useless as a pet skill is the Item Ignore skill.
There are just way too many things to add to the damn list, especially since we dont just stay in 1 map
etc items are always going to be different, and y'all know that when monsters drop things and pet picks them up
you get a horrible lag from pet looting, and sometimes you just end up turning it off.
But now we have Arcane River and keep pet loot on for Symbols and Nodestones is a must yet with the money dropping and etc dropping
it makes you lag so much.
So how about we change this pet skill function and call it "Item Only"
How does this skill work? Simple, just like Item Ignore,
how about we only put in Items that we want our pets to loot, of course it would modify pets to a more extreme matter
since Pets with this skill will no longer be looting anything unless its on your list.
Default a Meso Check-Box and have a list edit for things you want your pet to loot
such as Nodestones, symbols, event boxes and other things you want.
This would clog our inventory less as well as less lag for you when your pet is looting specific things, instead of your pet looting everything at once.
Comments
I have three pets, each with item ignore(10 per pet, so 30), at this moment I have three or four different tiers of arrows(bow and crossbow), Basic/Fine Spell Essences, Mana Crystals and like two or three random use items from Singapore(Dango, Durian, etc). I don't have much issue with picking up garbage I don't want.
Personally I don't think it would reduce the lag much, because heaps of stuff on the ground still cause lag, and the pet having to repeatedly sift through the junk to find the treasures would probably lag worse. But since it seems Nexon is helpless to get rid of loot lag, I don't mind them trying this method, for whatever good it would do.

the thing I'm trying to say is that, because of so much clogged things on the ground + lag
if we had this feature, our pets would just detect what we want to loot, instead of massively looting everything (which would lag us)
and/or having us loot for it ourselves, digging for things cause we turn off pet loot. ya know?
