Broken Updater on PC

This has been a burning question I've always wanted to ask. Why does my PC force me to re-download the entire game over whenever there is a sizable update to Maple? On my laptop (where I began playing Maple for the first time) this issue never occurs, yet on other PC's the patcher always prompts me to download the almost 10GBs of data. The only "workaround" I know of is to just let my laptop download the files and use a USB to transfer the files over to my PC. Anyone knows why this is a thing? Have any of you had this problem before?

I have noted that this happens when the launcher updates before the game is done with maintenance. Which is something I always do.

If you're updating on patch day, it may be best to use the manual patcher or the GameLauncher.exe file instead. Keep your launcher offline until maintenance is fully completed.

I usually rely on my Mapling from the Game Launcher anyways, but thanks for the tip.

PS: When is Nexon going to realize that the Game Launcher is the best tool for launching MapleStory? The only reason I would use the Nexon Launcher is if it had a Steam-esque built in web browser.

The Nexon launcher lets you remained logged in. It's useful when you're switching between characters. Alternatively, the GameLauncher lets you switch regions now. There are ups and downs.

I guess I can't argue against that, Im trying to keep this post up enough for other users to comment if they have similar issues to mine.
