What happened with Blazing extinction

I played somedays ago with my Blaze wizard and used Blaze extinction and WOW.
Did they nerf it.
It used to destroy everything on the map.
But now it takes like 6 or 7 hits till a mob is dead.
I have the event equipment from the remake event.

Edit:Blazing extinction is the skill where a sun gets shot out that attacks everything with fire chains.

    It's because you're playing the hacker class, and they need to nerf everything that makes it playable by regular people
