"You can't start the game here" ERROR?

Hi, I've been recently getting an error window that pops up saying "You can't start the game here" whenever I attempt to trade / cash trade with someone. Some other players have been experiencing this strange issue now and again as well.
Additionally, using Cash Shop items sometimes seem to fail - (I.E. Marriage ticket pops up saying "You can't start the game here", as well as some activated cash shop items.)

Does anyone know a fix to this? Here's to hoping the issue is resolved by post-maintenance.

    It's supposed to be fixed in today's maintenance.
    For now, you can go to another channel than the one you have your hired merchant on, and do the trade there.
