Def/MDef stat missing on Earrings

Hi,

I went to visit some of my old characters to update their gear, and I noticed that for the most of the earrings on all of my characters, the Defense stat was missing. The only thing those earrings had were the basic stats like str/dex/luk/int (if they had any at all; I had clean items too), for the other earrings that didn't have those stats, the only thing that appeared was the number of upgrades available. I've seen this on my Gold Drop Earrings, Red Cross Rings, Lightning Earrings, Emerald Earrings, Notable Earrings, Sapphire Earrings, Crystal Flower Earrings, Gold Emerald Earrings, and Maple Earrings.
The defense stat remained on my Dea Sidus Earrings, and my Homecoming Victory Earrings.

Did I miss an update on earring stats? Or is this a glitch?
