Downloading multiple times?

This is for my friend, but it seems like every time he completely closes the game (To desktop) and comes back to it later, he has to redownload the game.

As far as I know he uses windows 10, he's had this problem before, but relogging onto the launcher typically fixes it. He's had to download it twice over the past two days. Is there any fix to this?
