Pet loot lag work-around?

Instead of having pet loot lag fixed (If it hasn't been by now it's obvious their system is outdated) what if items could simply stack? If 2 exact items are laying right next to each other instead of having to pick them both up (in realistic circumstances hundreds) what if they simply became one item and when picked up you got 2? Please at the very least do this with meso drops, in farming and grinding, most of the items on the floor are just hundreds even thousands of mesos, even if the items didn't stack, having mesos stack would reduce lag severely. Obviously you don't want a flow of all the mesos drops flowing off to the side of the map just to stack, maybe there could be a limit of 10? Any way you do it, lag would be much less of a big deal.
