Any ideas on merging servers?

As you guys know, GMS has become underpopulated and there are less people in each server. We currently have 10+ servers and players are sparsely populated. I think merging few less-populated servers into one will be a good idea. (not merging ALL of them -despite it might get inevitable in future bc lots of people are quitting) Any ideas or suggestions?
