Play error

So, a few days ago, I decided to download the game. I downloaded the launcher, but only got the download to 50% before I had to close it. I started the launcher up again last night, had to start the download all over again, and it properly finished. But when I go to play, it says

The program can't start because api-ws-win-crt-runstime-l1-1-0.dll is missing. I just downloaded using the launcher.

I've just tried downloading and playing it through steam, and I got the same issue.

This error is related to runtime errors. I would recommend looking into the Microsoft Universal Runtime Library update here:
