Totem effect not appearing

I notice most ppl have the totem effects floating above their head, but I have three totems - hog, captain & nurse; and none of them appear, I have tried using the effect button in the equip window but to no avail. Any ideas peeps?

    Only a few totems produce a visible effect. The Hog and Captain Finger totems do not have an effect that I am aware of.

    Assuming you're talking about the Madhouse nurse totem, that does have a visual effect, though I'm not sure if it requires the other Madhouse totems to produce the effect. If you're not referring to the Madhouse nurse, it likely does not not have a visual effect.
