Invasion Rewards

So for people who aren't aware, within the last few days whatever was causing invasions to "Double" was hotfixed. This is referring to a second invasion happening directly after the first finishes in the same time slot if the first is cleared fast enough (typically before 28:30 on the timer), and was fairly common during peak hours in populated servers like Reboot.

The only way to get tyrant gloves is by trading in 400 Anti Magic Stones and 480k Anti-Magic for 400 Kiritias Commemorative Coins to buy the gloves. Since you can only get 1 Anti-Magic stone a day from dailies, the only way to get Tyrant gloves in a reasonable amount of time is by doing Invasions (1 stone and up to 1000 Anti Magic per invasion). Tyrant gloves are already widely considered the second hardest piece of endgame gear to get (after arcane weapon), and unlike the arcane weapon you typically need to get more than one in order to optimize anyway because of the high chance of equipment destruction involved with starring tyrants.

While whatever was triggering double invasion may have in fact been a bug, I don't really think anyone considered it unhealthy for the game to be able to attend 2 invasions per time slot. The presence of Double Invasions in the game was basically common knowledge for anyone who attended them for the last 6 months, yet it remained in the game that long before getting hotfixed. Attending multiple invasions a day is already a huge time commitment, and because of their alignment with UTC peak hours, for PST and EST players invasions would typically start very late into the night and go all the way through work/school hours and then stop before people actually got back home to play the game. This meant that even attending 2-3 invasions for most players was already pretty inconvenient. So presence of Double Invasions in the game was a godsend to people who would otherwise only be getting 3-4 Anti Magic Stones a day.

We have to also consider that other servers like KMS and MSEA have an alternative method of accumulating Anti Magic Stones and Anti Magic through Hekaton, but GMS does not have this content.

My suggestion is this. If it was not unreasonable to allow the Double Invasion bug to exist in the game for so long, why not simply double invasion rewards? Give 2 anti magic stones and 2000 anti magic per invasion instead of just 1 and 1000. This may sound like overcompensation, but you have to understand for the past 6 months these are the rates most people were getting these rewards per invasion while the bug was in the game. Even with rates like this, it would still take most players an average of 40-50 days of constant invasion attendance in order to get enough rewards for gloves. Reducing the price of tyrant gloves to 200 Kritias Commemorative Coins would also achieve the same result.

If you think doubling invasion rewards or reducing the price of tyrant gloves is over kill, the other option is make invasions occur in the game every 2 hours for the whole day, instead of just during UTC daylight hours. This will allow players from other time zones to have an equal shot of accumulating anti-magic stones and increases the overall number of invasions in the day, thus creating less pressure to attend each one but making it easier overall to accumulate rewards.

Have always been for Invasions being every 2 hours 24/7. Not for double rewards/cheaper gloves personally though.
