Bebe's Green Box Time Limit

Okay, since when have the Bebe boxes been time limited? I just collected mine today (cause of fullish USE invent) and I noticed that these have a "usuable until" limit. Also, unlike normal expiring items, they don't have the small clock in the top left. Mainly irked because I like collecting the boxes instead of opening them (yes, I know, it's a massive waste but I'm a hoarder, '3')

    Bebe boxes have always been time limited.

    The items inside the boxes (the EXP/drop coupons) do not expire.

    That is incorrect. I have a Bebe's Blue Box in inventory, from some old event or compensation. It has no expiration date or "usable until" date.
    Some collectors (including, I think, VFM MegaScience) still have old Bebe Boxes of various colors that they didn't open.

    I believe the contents of Bebe's Boxes can be changed (server side) at any time, though, so keeping them forever and expecting them to still give the same items whenever one gets around to opening them, might not be wise.

    Redeemed 3 bebe boxes 2 days ago, yesterday they expired. Fun times. It's not like i could've used those 9 permanent 2x coupons or something.
    At this rate they might as well put 1 minute expiration time on stuff.
