It's almost a new year and my hope for maplestory is to at least increase their graphics by a little. I understand that it's difficult for Nexon to update the visuals, but this is a reminder that we are close to 2020 and graphics in all games have to keep up with each other. Nexon should plan on another major update to all maps and textures. Especially for the sake of some players who have gaming computers and really want to enjoy the experience in game without feeling like they are playing some old outdated classic game.

The more Nexon keeps on developing new maps, npcs, items etc, the more they will have to change if they plan on increasing texture quality. Which means that nexon really needs to do something about the graphics now or they would just keep on stalling it.

I speculate that players are declining in maplestory not because of the overall game but because of maplestory not maintaining the graphics demands of games coming close to another decade.

We players are not asking for alot in Christmas to get 4k quality, but maybe a little increase to 1600x600 or 1920x1080 can help fill out some empty borders in the computer screen.

Please comment if you agree or disagree with my post ,but anyways Merry Christmas

    1. Yes, because maplestory will no longer lose its popularity and become an outdated game of the past.

    2. No, I am fine with the graphics and I dont believe that its causing maple to lose popularity.
