Cannot use Adlers white key in Afterlife

I haven’t been able to use Adlers white key in the afterlife mini dungeon. It tells me I don’t have the key. But I have checked with people and online and it is the correct key for the correct lock. I also can’t use my bloody storm skill because it says I need slash storm level 20 and slash storm skill only reaches level 5
