[Mushroom Shrine Tale Quest Bug] Trial of Anguish

The trial doesn't end how its suppose to ending in a couple of minutes, so instead the 10 minute timer runs out leaving the quest unable to be completed. When I get teleported back it says quest completed with 0 exp obtained.
