Whats the point of getting a B-Day Surprise box?

i don´t get it, most of the items are just trash and the % of getting the item you want is close or less than 5% (since the box contain over 40+ items)

i know, nexon continues using this type of CS items, because it generates a lot of revenue, since it prays in the player will, for getting a specific item.

but come on, 30 dollars for just 11 tickets, and probably you will not be able to get the desired item, event after expending over 90 dollars, in just this box


why people keep buying them?
