The recent ARK patch gave even more health to elite bosses.
They have more health than hard magnus when I fight them in arcana.
They just slash our farming rates to nothing for 2 to 4 minutes, depending on how strong you are.
The rewards are also laughable because only beginners needs the items. ie.
silver potential stamps, useless souls, spell traces worth less than 3m, master craftsman cubes, epic potential scrolls.
Suggestions
Buff the rewards. Remove useless rewards and add some more useful items: Red/Black cubes, powerful/eternal flames, 40m+ mesos, event coins. Make these rewards inclusive for everybody, and not just low level players.
Make the rewards proportional to level of mobs. An elite boss in level 160 hunting ground will reward epic potential scrolls, but an elite boss in arcana can reward droplets and nodestones.
Remove the elite boss system completely. Does this system really make the gameplay more interesting? Are you looking forward to fighting an elite boss while you're leveling a mule or grinding at arcana?
Have the option to skip the elite boss fight after entering a captcha.
Let regular mobs spawn as normal during the elite boss fight.
Make the Elite boss have less health, like 10% of what it has now to justify its crappy rewards.
Give 2x drop, 2x mesos, 2x exp buff for 5 minutes after we kill the elite boss to compensate the net LOSS.
Aside: Remove that 20 seconds after the boss fight.
Right now, higher level players have no purpose fighting elite boss.
It's become so bad, we call on our alliance to help kill it so we can get on with farming.
