If the UA still has the skills used by normal Explorers today, then it should be perfectly fine to play. You appear to be a third-job Hero (I.E. a Crusader, although you can advance to 4th job right now if you want), so I'd check if your skills match the current specs of the Hero branch of the wiki. If they do, you're good to go (won't suffer any lost damage compared to other players) and you get the extra Dawn Warrior skills as a bonus (which isn't that helpful, but it is something you can be proud of having).
You may want to buy an AP reset scroll from Matilda and re-assign your stats into your main stat (STR), however.

You cannot transfer characters between worlds unless there is a World Transfer event going on. None are ongoing, and even when one is ongoing, you cannot transfer to or from Reboot.
You can start a new character on Reboot, but it would be starting from scratch.

Classes are more about how fun they are to play than they are about damage. Hero is fine, for example, but if you don't like playing it you can use the in-game job change to transfer between any of the current Warrior explorers, or you can just try out a new class entirely (there's no penalty) by creating a new character.
