Unused star force items

I started using star force and spent a like 16M mesos to achieve the amount of stars that a certain place required. Is there any way to get them back? Parcially at least, or any way to use these old star forced items? I tried to transfer them into my new ones, but it's really counterproductive.

    Other than the use of the transfer hammer, you cannot regain mesos spent on Star Force.

    The Transfer Hammer should, provided you were collecting new equipment fairly periodically, reduce the amount of mesos you have to spend overall, except for a few equips which don't have lower-level counterparts (such as capes and eye accessories).
