Hard dungeon d/c's

Honestly confused why you lose access to coming back to some hard dungeons (example Fire Dragon). I have some internet issues at random times in the day and just d/c from maplestory and I'm able to log right back on, but if I'm in the middle of a FD run the bridge disappears, kind of silly.
