Reject Friend Request NOT Working

In the most recent update in the patch notes, it says that "A new option to reject a friend request has been added to the Conversation & Invite tab."
The button says "Add Friend" and it that can be ticked/unticked in the Options. However, even when unticked you STILL receive and can request friend requests (no different than before the update).
Could someone look into this please?
