Can't use Selective 8 Slot Coupon for 4 slots

We can't use Selective 8 Slot coupon on the remaining 4 inventory slots, this was an issue long time ago and I remember they changed it so we could use it (It would warn you that you can only gain 4 additional slots if you would use the 8 slots coupon). Now we can't use it anymore.

It's the coupon we got from the Hot Time event. It is untradeable and it has a time limited duration, so it will expire.
