How do I remove Crafter: Name on an item?

I did some Googling, and some people claim that using an Item Tag from CS will overwrite the crafter's name with the current character's name. I'm not sure if that's true, but is there a way to not have any name on an item at all? I saw an item in CS called "Item Tag Clear" but I don't know if it'll clear the crafter's name or the name from using an Item Tag.

    Hai, old post so not sure if you still need an answer, but yes using an Item Tag on an item with a crafter's name, and then using the Item Tag Clear will remove all names on the item.
