Chu Chu Torrent Zone Lures do not always activate

Brief bug summary: In Chu Chu Island at Torrent Zone there are objects called Lures that work similar to Runes that spawn in the water. When swimming to it a sequence of directional keys will be prompt in order to activate the Lure. Sometimes when completing the sequence it doesn't activate the lure.

This bug has been around for over a year now as indicated by this /r/MapleStory reddit thread.

Steps to reproduce: Attempt to use a lure in Chu Chu Island Torrent Zone.
