Take a look at the Monday box in reboot that you can purchase. The pet has a 10% chance to get and you get 3 chances for 25k.
That gives us a estimated cost to get a permanent pet a roughly 83k. Compare that to the standard pet boxes that come around in rotation that
have a 7.5% chance at a perma pet for 4k that gives an estimated cost at roughly 53k.

Not sure how these boxes are a deal at all for trying to get a permanent pet.

Black Friday isn't about the buyer getting deals. It's about stores moving as much crap as they can. I've seen anecdotes on reddit, where you have two identical TVs, but one was a BF "deal" and the other was a regular purchase. The BF deal is inferior in slight ways, one less HDMI port and things of that sort.

On the whole, you're better off just avoiding the whole damn circus.

If you actually look for deals the whole year, you'll notice that Black Friday is just a collection of basically everything on a minor sale at the same time.
Usually the better deals for stuff happen over the course of the year, it's just that it's not everything on sale at once.
This is why they can still get people, because some people would rather survive one nightmareish day than spend the whole year being mindful of deals.

Not talking about Nexon mind you, this is how all black friday deals seem to work.
