Oh boy it's another fury totem thread!

So now that we know you guys have a version of this piece of crap that lasts longer than two hours, how about making the reward point one suck less? Or is that sort of thing reserved for people willing to shell out $25 for three boxes?

At first I suspected they just meant the coupon, which lasts 30 days. But that wouldn't really be worth it...

It's funny that they're already monetizing something that was seemingly meant to be a free alternative to 2PC meta.
It's only a matter of time before they put a permanent version in Marvel, now that they've taken Frenzy out, while keeping the RP one vastly inferior.

For the part I mentioned above about the loss players may feel as a result of these changes, we plan to introduce a new item that all characters can obtain in-game through multiple avenues, as well as in limited quantities from the Maple Reward Point Shop. This item will grant players the ability to activate the same effects of Kanna’s newly revamped Kishin skill for a limited duration. We decided that this was necessary in order to provide all players an alternative to using the Kanna character itself.

Many players will also be wondering if there are going to be any changes made to the existing Frenzy Totem as a result of the Kanna changes mentioned. Our plan at this time is to not make changes to Frenzy Totems since there are a limited quantity of those items in players' possessions.

In my memo in April, I mentioned that we will be introducing a new item that will grant players the ability to activate the same effects of Kanna’s newly revamped Kishin skill. As mentioned, this item will last for a limited duration and will be available in limited quantities in the Maple Reward Point shop, as well as through various other in-game avenues such as event rewards.

To obtain the Fury Totem players can obtain a Fury Totem Coupon from a variety of sources. This coupon will grant the player a Fury Totem with a 2-hour duration. Once the player obtains the totem, the player can use the Fury Totem skill multiple times for the entire duration of the item.

In the Maple Reward Point shop, we plan to offer the Fury Totem Coupon for 2,000 Maple Reward Points with a limited quantity purchase amount of 15 times a month. In addition, we plan to introduce this item to various event rewards in the future. For this summer, we plan to allow players to earn 2 additional Fury Totem Coupons in the upcoming Step Up event, as well as 1 additional Fury Totem Coupon in our upcoming summer coin shop.

Lastly, we also plan to add this Fury Totem Coupon to the Fairy Bros Daily Gifts reward.

I love the "multiple avenues" part that culminated in 20 via spending far too much for far too little uptime in the reward shop and two per month from fairy bros; as well as the rare once-per-world coin shop entry. Just further enforces what I've said before about them touting it as a utility item then implementing it as a luxury item
