Can't Tab Out

Title says it all-Maplestory has ceased allowing me to tab out of the game. If I launch it, it's stuck there, and it won't let me tab out for anything. I have to close the game completely if I want to have anything else on my screen. I'm not gonna play in Window mode because all the resolutions are small and would end up being tiny on my monitor. I like to tab out for music, messaging people, etc. Not gonna play if it's stuck on my screen the whole time, because it's the only game that does this.

    Funny, so if I start the game in full screen, I can't tab out. but if I start in windowed mode / switch to windowed mode and then go full screen, I can tab out.
    So maybe temp solution until they get back to us on this?
    Switch to window, then switch back to full, and try tabbing out?
