I've tried every fix I could find, nothing is working.
The issue seems to be that- even though I'm changing soscreenmode to 3, upon every launch it gets rewritten. Don't know why that happens and how to stop it. Don't know if fixing it will make the game run, but it's the only lead I have so far.
