How many mesos can I hold?

I am curious. I see things like http://maplesecrets.blogspot.com/2011/07/whats-max-mesos-one-character-can-hold.html which says max 2,147,483,647 - approx 2 billion.

But, when I look in the auction house (or whatever they call it these days - sorry, currently offline for maintenance, so I can't get the correct name), I see items selling for much, much more.

How does it work?

    That site is very outdated.
    Max meso right now is 29,999,999,999, or one less than 30 billion.

    That site was indeed correct long ago, but they chose to raise it up to what AKradian has said. Due to Star system and increasing need for Mesos, which tends to happen in all games. We can now hold a much reasonable sum :)
