    1. Unlikely, try it and see if it lets you.
    2. No, but the ranks are shared through an entire world so you can rank-up on a mule and save coins on your main for stuff you want to buy. Works the same as last summer's adventure island event and this past winter's glory guard event, if you were around for those.
